Noel’s association with the Melbourne Pain Management Clinic began in July 1991. The Clinic has a multi-disciplinary approach under the direction of medical practitioner and World authority on chronic pain Dr. Leonard Rose. In addition to chronic pain and posttraumatic stress disorders, the patients referred to Len can also present with neuropsychological problems as well as other psychological disorders. Noel has many years experience in assisting adults who have suffered a past trauma or are currently suffering a trauma.

The Philemon Centre, directed by Psychiatrist Dr. Denis Shum, is well situated as the ‘Gateway” between Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsular. While the work Noel does in Geelong is very similar to his work with the Melbourne Pain Management Clinic, he also sees many private patients who come for the treatment of problems such as fears and phobias, smoking, weight loss, grief and loss.

Noel has an unhurried approach and offers a variety of therapeutic treatments. Clients are encouraged to understand the treatment approaches and to actively engage in formulating the treatment plan. Treatment options include; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Hypnotherapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
